As we were paying for our accommodation we saw some amazing
photos – asked where it was – and so we headed to Bozouls. Totally the opposite direction to our
plans. We were amazed by what we
found. There was like a huge chasm with
some of the town in it while the rest of the town was built on the edge of the
cliff face. Hard to describe but we took
heaps of photos. It was gorgeous. We went for a walk all around the top and
then down into the chasm. We had a bbq
steak and salad for lunch. We would have
liked to have stayed longer but no accommodation left. We then drove on to Espalion. This is a big town with beautiful
buildings. We booked in for the night.
It was very hot. Pizza for tea.
