We went for a stroll to see the Rialto Bridge. The shops were just opening. Porters were still taking goods to the shops
along the way. Venice was just waking up
so it was a bit easier to get around. We
did a bit of shopping. Lunchtime – today
we got some take away and sat under a monument to eat it. People watching is great fun in any city but
especially in Venice as just about everyone seems to be following a map, or
looking for directions.
Back to the hotel for a rest and organised our cases for traveling
tomorrow. Out to dinner to say goodbye to wonderful
Venice.
